Automotive & EV Charging Design
Showrooms, service and collision repair centres, and EV charging sites.
We help automotive brands create places that work for their customers, their teams and their business. Our work spans showrooms and dealerships, service and collision repair centres, and EV charging sites, with the brand experience and the operation considered together.
Our specialist EV experience covers both vehicle facilities and charging sites. From a customer’s first visit to servicing and repair, we work with your brand and technical teams to understand what each facility needs and carry those requirements into its design. This experience sits alongside our wider work with automotive brands and their dealer networks.

Showrooms & dealerships
Bring vehicle presentation, customer conversations, test drives and handover together around the way your brand sells. We consider how the space supports both the customer’s experience and the team running the location, including charging and vehicle preparation where needed.
Service centres
Plan vehicle reception, workshop circulation, service bays and supporting spaces around the operation. For EV facilities, the brief also needs to reflect the manufacturer’s requirements for charging, specialist equipment and working with high voltage vehicles.
Collision repair centres
Consider how vehicles arrive, are assessed and move through repair. EV collision work brings particular requirements around damaged vehicles and batteries, including designated areas and controlled access. We coordinate the design brief with the client’s technical and safety teams.
EV Charging Site Design & Architecture
We bring specialist experience in the site design and architecture of fast charging sites and hubs. We can support automotive brands and independent charging operators, whether developing an individual location or a consistent approach across a growing network. Our work spans early feasibility and due diligence, permitting, design integration and support for delivery across multiple sites.
Plan the site around its operation
We consider site constraints, vehicle access and circulation, charging bay layouts and pedestrian routes together. The design needs to accommodate the operator’s equipment and access requirements while making the location straightforward to use. We develop the site design and architecture alongside the client’s charging and engineering teams.
Consider the time people spend there
Clear wayfinding, accessibility, lighting and shelter help shape the experience of a charging stop. Where shops, food or other amenities form part of the brief, our retail and hospitality experience helps us consider how they work with the charging site. The aim is a place that serves the business and makes good use of the customer’s time.
